Attention Raiders, the CCVS Homecoming is just over a week away. There is still time to register for what promises to be a great weekend. Your Homecoming registration package also includes admission into Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off.

Cornwall - Jul. 5, 2011 - Attention Raiders, the CCVS Homecoming is just over a week away. There is still time to register for what promises to be a great weekend. Your Homecoming registration package also includes admission into Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off.

Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I park at CCVS?
Yes, the school parking lot is on 5th st east, across from the school. We’ve also arranged for parking at Central Public off 3rd St east, and Bishop Catholic School, at 4th east and Adolphus streets.

My husband uses a walker. Can he navigate in the school?
Yes, the school has been totally accessible since 1976. Ramps and elevators allow travel between the three floors.

I registered online and would like to attend April Wine Concert at Lift-off on Thursday night, but it’s the day before Homecoming. How do I get into the concert?
Early Registration on Thursday, July 14 at CCVS is from 4 to 7 pm. Come in, pick up your registration package and have fun at Lift-off.

What’s happening at the Coffee House Reception on Sat afternoon?
The Bar is open, the desserts are to ‘die for’ and the music and entertainment will Warm the cockles of your heart. The Shiners Bamd will play and some of the class clowns may find the stage again.

Will CCVS Homecoming have any gathering places after Lift-off?
Yes, Rangatangs on Vincent Massey Drive and the RCAFA Wing have invited Raiders to drop by on Friday and Saturday.

Should I register before July 15th or wait until I get there?
The volunteer committee would like to have enough of everything for all to enjoy. You should register in advance so we’ll be prepared.

If I register before homecoming will I have to stand in a long line?
Pre-registered folks will be able to just pick up their package and get involved. Not registered folks will be able to stand in line and be registered as quickly as the volunteers can process.

Is the “Shiners” Band playing at Homecoming?
Yes! Jason Collins and Joel Labrosse played all through school and once again will present a super afternoon in the Caf at the Coffee House with a little help from some improve and drama students.

I don’t want to attend the Homecoming events, but would like to see the school again. Do I have to register?
Yes!

Will this homecoming generate lots of money?
Our goal is to break even. If money is generated, it will be directed to CCVS student activity, Scholarships or an Alumni Benevolent Foundation.
