Cornwall Police charge female with assault on ex-girlfriend
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: A 26 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 3rd of August, 2011. It is alleged that she entered into an altercation with her 23 year-old ex-girlfriend when she assaulted her.

Cornwall - Aug. 4, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service:

DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- A 26 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 3rd of August, 2011. It is alleged that she entered into an altercation with her 23 year-old ex-girlfriend when she assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Domestic Assault and released to appear in court on the 23rd of August, 2011 to answer to the charge. Her name was not release as it would identify the victim in this incident.

BREACH OF RECOGIZANCE
Cornwall, ON- Donna Marsolais, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on the 4th of August, 2011. She was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant condition to abide by curfew of 10pm to 6am, except in direct presence of surety. It is alleged that on the 4th of August, 2011 shortly before 1:00 a.m. a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division found her walking on York Street. She was charged with breach of recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.
