Cornwall Police lay six charges in domestic dispute
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: A 36 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 8th of August, 2011. He was charged with Domestic Assault, three counts of Breach of Probation Order and two counts of Breach of Undertaking.

Cornwall - Aug. 9, 2011 - The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 36 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 8th of August, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and abstain from the consumption of alcohol. He was also bound by a second Probation Order to Keep the peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was also bound by an Undertaking with the relevant conditions of abstain from the consumption of alcohol and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 3rd of August, 2011, he entered into an altercation with his 30 year-old girlfriend while intoxicated. During the incident he attempted to take keys from his girlfriend which resulted in cutting her thumb. The victim did not require any medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, three counts of Breach of Probation Order and two counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

THEFT & BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, ON- Donald Glen Primeau, 49 of Cornwall was arrested on the 8th of August, 2011. He was bound by a Probation Order with the relevant conditions to Notify change of address and Keep the peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on the 4th of July, 2011 he was captured on a video surveillance tape stealing a wallet at a Chevrier Avenue business. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was located and charged with Theft under $5000.00 and 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on the 6th of September, 2011.
