Cornwall Police investigating a break and enter on Brookdale
The following is an official media release and/or announcement from the Cornwall Police Service: The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 10th of August, 2011 overnight at a Brookdale Avenue business. The suspect(s) smashed the front door with a rock.

BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON - The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 10th of August, 2011 overnight at a Brookdale Avenue business. The suspect(s) smashed the front door with a rock and proceeded … No property was reported stolen. THREATS
Cornwall, ON- A 56 year-old Cornwall women was arrested on the 9th of August, 2011. It is alleged that she phoned her ex-girlfriend and an threaten her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Uttering a Death threat and released to appear in court on the 20th of September, 2011 to answer to the charge. Her name was not released as it may identify the victim in this incident.

DRUG WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- Members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit executed a drug search warrant shortly after 2:00 p.m. on the 10th of August, 2011 at a Gloucester Street South residence. As a result of the investigation a man was arrested and charged with five drug and Criminal Code related offences when he was allegedly found to be in the possession of a controlled substance. Police seized quantity of substances believed to be Oxycodone and marijuana. The total value of seized drugs and property is estimated at $1,300.00.

Tyler Geneau, 21 of Cornwall was charged with two counts of Possession of a controlled substance, Possession for the Purpose and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was also charged with Breach of Recognizance. He was held in custody until court the following day.

BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE
Cornwall, ON- Mary Rose Doiron, 45 of Cornwall was arrested on the 11th of August, 2011. She was bound by a Recognizance with the condition not to be away from her residence between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. except for medical emergencies. It is alleged that on the 11th of August, 2011 shortly prior to 1:00 a.m., she was located by members of the Cornwall Community Police Service at a Lennox Street address away from her residence. She was charged accordingly and held in custody until court later that day.
