Victim Services volunteer crisis responders needed
Victim Services of S.D.G. & A. is a non-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to assist police and other emergency services to meet the immediate, short-term needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstances by providing emotional support, practical assistance and referrals to community based services/resources.

Cornwall - Sep. 2, 2011 - Want to make a difference in the life of someone who has been affected by crime or a tragedy?

Volunteer with Victim Services and be there for someone when they need it the most.

Victim Services of S.D.G. & A. is a non-profit volunteer based organization dedicated to assist police and other emergency services to meet the immediate, short-term needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstances by providing emotional support, practical assistance and referrals to community based services/resources.

The organization is looking for volunteers from a variety of backgrounds. If you are 19 years of age or over, have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, have good listening skills and want to make a difference in your community, Victim Services would like to hear from you.

Victim Services are having two information sessions on September 8, 2011 and September 13, 2011. Both sessions begin at 7:00 p.m. The information sessions will be held at their office, which is located at 707A Rosemount Avenue (upstairs).
