When will Hudak MPP, Randy Hillier pay his taxes?
Randy Hillier is a controversial right-wing PC MPP and former President of the radical Lanark Landowners Association. He also likes to style himself as a tax-fighter. Toronto - Sep. 9, 2011 - Randy Hillier is a controversial right-wing PC MPP and former President of the radical Lanark Landowners Association. He also likes to style himself as a tax-fighter.

But he's not so much of a taxpayer, according to Revenue Canada.

Last night, CTV News in Ottawa reported that Randy Hillier is caught up in a nasty fight with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) over unpaid taxes. Public court documents reveal the CRA has gone to the extraordinary step of placing two separate liens totally $14,880 on the property Hillier owns with his wife.

Tim Hudak owes his leadership to Randy Hillier. Hillier dropped out of the race and threw his enthusiastic support to Tim Hudak after Hudak pledged to gut fundamental rights protections, a key Hillier demand.

Hudak claims, every day, that he's on the side of those who “pay their taxes and play by the rules.” That's a quote.

So why won't he tell one of his most senior MPPs to pay his taxes, and play by the rules, too?

“For Ontario Families, the idea that some people get ahead by living outside the rules is one that’s very hard to take… there are too many people trying to take a free ride on the backs of hardworking, law-abiding Ontario families.” (Tim Hudak, Changebook)
