OPP Sudden Death investigation continues in Arnprior
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 41-year old male, Corey BLASKIE from Arnprior, Ontario is continuing under the direction of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detective Inspector David MacDonald of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

Arnprior - Sep. 13, 2011 - The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a 41-year old male from Arnprior, Ontario is continuing under the direction of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detective Inspector David MacDonald of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

Early Sunday morning at 12:20AM, officers from the Arnprior OPP Detachment responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence located on Edward Street North.

Corey BLASKIE of Arnprior was located at the scene with vital signs absent upon the arrival of the police.

An investigation has followed and OPP investigators have determined that BLASKIE died following a confrontation with two of the homeowners.

A post mortem examination was conducted yesterday at the Ottawa General Hospital however the cause of death will not be released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing at this time and there have been no criminal charges laid.
