Cornwall - Oct. 13, 2011 - Tri-County Literacy Council is presently in need of volunteers. Our Community Homework & After-School Program will be reopening on Monday, October 17, 2011 with a new location. This year the program will take place at Tri-County Literacy Council office location at 101 2nd Street West from 3 pm to 5 pm.

The program involves helping school-aged children with homework and enrichment activities such as physical activity, music, art, nutrition, etc. The centre will be open Monday to Friday. Volunteers can choose which day they wish to volunteer. This would be a wonderful opportunity to young people wishing to pursue a career in education or the social science field.

If you are interested in volunteering, you can email: volunteers@tricountyliteracycouncil.ca or phone 613-932-7161.
