Iroquois - Oct. 18, 2011 - Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers had its 50/50 winning ticket picked on 15 Oct 11 at Jim Mustard’s Variety store in Iroquois.
Jim Mustard has been a supporter of the program since its inception. The program was started in 1992 and when Jim was approached to help raise funds for the program he jumped in and never looked back.
Not only does he sell Nevada tickets at his store that gives much needed financial assistance to the program he is forever selling other types of tickets and securing many people to play in the annual Crime Stopper golf tournament.
The winning ticket for the 50/50 was sold at the Williamstown fair this past August; the winner was Denis TOUSIGNANT of Greenfield, North Glengarry Township ($1550.00).
The winning ticket was pulled by Nelson Zandbergen in front of Mustard’s Variety store.
