Charges Laid In Traffic Stops
On October 25, at approximately 11:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on County Road 2, South Stormont Township. The stop resulted in the seizure (small amount) of suspected Marihuana.

South Stormont - Oct. 26, 2011 - The following is an official media release from the Ontario Provincial Police:

CHARGES LAID
(South Stormont) - On October 25, at approximately 11:30am, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Stormont Township.

The stop revealed that the 35yr old male driver was breaching his earlier release conditions.

The male was arrested and faces charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance and Breach of Probation Order.

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

TRAFFIC STOP NETS DRUGS
(South Stormont) - On October 25, at approximately 11:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.

The stop resulted in the seizure (small amount) of suspected Marihuana.

The 19yr old male driver (Darren Martin of South Stormont) was arrested and faces a charge of Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana.

He is scheduled to appear November 29 in Cornwall court.
