Cornwall Night at Rideau Carleton Raceway
Rideau Cornwall Raceway, the venerable Ottawa entertainment landmark, is once again honouring the City of Cornwall at a special night of harness racing on Friday December 2, 2011. This year marks the 3rd year in a row the event has been held at the Raceway, which is located in the southeast part of Ottawa on Albion Road

Cornwall - Nov. 10, 2011 - Rideau Cornwall Raceway, the venerable Ottawa entertainment landmark, is once again honouring the City of Cornwall at a special night of harness racing on Friday December 2, 2011. This year marks the 3rd year in a row the event has been held at the Raceway, which is located in the southeast part of Ottawa on Albion Road. Last year, over 150 people from Cornwall made the trek.

Tickets to the evening are only $30.00 per person, which includes an all-you-can-eat buffet, coffee or tea, a race program, a $5.00 SLOTS voucher, a $5.00 Dining Room voucher (good for your next visit to Rideau Carleton) with premier window seating for live harness racing action. Post time for the first race is 6:30pm.

The night has proven to be a popular choice for office Christmas parties. The event is also a fundraiser for Team Cornwall.

Cornwall Night at Rideau Carleton Raceway is sponsored by the Cornwall and Area Chamber of Commerce, Schnitzels and Delaney Bus Lines. About Rideau Carleton Raceway Rideau Carleton Raceway has been operating since 1962. The main feature is live standardbred harness horse racing which attracts thousands of sports fans every race night. The Raceway also has a 650 seat dining room that overlooks Canada's fastest 5/8th mile track, the perfect place to enjoy the panoramic view of the race track and cheer on your favourite horse and driver.
