Christmas comes to Cooper Marsh
Nothing kicks off the holiday season in a more jolly fashion than twinkling lights and voices raised in song. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a winter wonderland at the annual Christmas at Cooper Marsh tree-lighting at Cooper Marsh Conservation Area next Friday, December 2nd at 7:30 pm.

South Lancaster - November 24, 2011 - Nothing kicks off the holiday season in a more jolly fashion than twinkling lights and voices raised in song. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a winter wonderland at the annual Christmas at Cooper Marsh tree-lighting at Cooper Marsh Conservation Area next Friday, December 2nd at 7:30 pm.

Organized by the Cooper Marsh Conservators this free event is “a merry way to jump into the holiday season”, said Jacques Legault, the Chair of the Conservators.

Singing around the lit trees is a wonderful way to create magical memories that the entire family can enjoy. In keeping with a “Green Christmas” theme this year, trees will be decorated and lit with LED energy-efficient bulbs. Children of all ages are invited to come along and sing their favourite Christmas songs. While everyone is asked to dress for the weather, hot chocolate and will be on hand to warm everyone inside and out. Come out and enjoy the fun!

Cooper Marsh Conservation Area is located at 20020 County Road 2, across from the Heritage Golf Club, just west of Lancaster in South Glengarry Township.
