Nalimov Nails Down Impressive Win for Team Russia over Team OHL in Subway Super Series

Nov. 22, 2013: Team Russia goaltender Ivan Nalimov stopped 41-of-43 Team OHL shots on goal in convincing fashion on Thursday night as Team Russia beat Team OHL 5-2 in front of 6,020 Oshawa faithful. Russia earned its first win of the Subway Super Series after losing its first two games earlier this week against Team QMJHL. FULL STORY

Oct. 27, 2012: Saginaw Spirit goaltender Jake Paterson stood on his head as the Oshawa Generals continued to press throughout the three periods, but were denied time after time. Oct. 25, 2012: Try as they might, the Oshawa Generals just couldn’t lose a rare Wednesday night matchup against their OHL East Division rivals, the Ottawa 67s. Needless and untimely penalties kept the game closer than needed. Generals’ forward Scott Sabourin backhanded the shootout winner past 67s starting goaltender, Keegan Wilson making the final score 4-3 in favour of Oshawa. FULL STORY

Oct. 5, 2012: There are indications in Oshawa Generals Daniel Altshuller’s performance last season that do show potential. Throughout the 2011-12 OHL season, Altshuller never had a ‘blown-win’.
