Kemptville - March 29, 2012 - The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) is inviting parents and guardians to participate in an event called “Service Excellence: Imagine the Future " Parent Conversations” on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. " 3:00 p.m. at the North Grenville Municipal Complex in Kemptville.

As part of the UCDSB’s Strategic Plan, we have embarked upon a project which focuses on Service Excellence, says Chief Customer Service Officer Linda Lumsden. This event is part of that project.

“Our goal is to learn about what people are doing well in terms of customer service across our board, so that we can expand upon it, and celebrate it,” she says. “We believe that if we provide excellent service, our students’ achievement and well-being will be enhanced, our parents and communities will have increased confidence in us, and our employees will continue to be highly engaged in the work that we do.”

Lumsden says this worthwhile event will provide attendees with the opportunity to share their own positive customer service experiences, and provide the board with valuable input. Lunch is included, and mileage to/from the event will be reimbursed.
