Daniel Alfredsson among NHL players who will lace up in Cornwall
A group of NHL players will be in Cornwall, Ontario on Monday, November 5, 2012 for a charity hockey game to benefit the Cornwall Chapter of the Max Keeping Foundation and First Assist, a charity that funds programs to benefit First Nations youth in fly-in communities. Senators Captain Daniel Alfredsson has confirmed he will play.

Cornwall - November 5, 2012 - A group of NHL players will be in Cornwall, Ontario on Monday, November 5, 2012 for a charity hockey game to benefit the Cornwall Chapter of the Max Keeping Foundation and First Assist, a charity that funds programs to benefit First Nations youth in fly-in communities.

Game time at the Cornwall Civic Complex is set for 7:30 pm.

The two teams will consist of locked out players from various NHL teams. Confirmed players who will participate in the game include Daniel Alfredsson of the Ottawa Senators, Josh Gorges and Travis Moen of the Montreal Canadiens, and former Montreal forward Guillaume Latendresse who now plays for the Minnesota Wild.

Ottawa Senators players Chris Phillips, Chris Neil, Jesse Winchester, of Long Sault will be in the line-up. Also, look for the Gionta brothers - Brian(Montreal) and Stephen (New Jersey).
