Power Outage in Morrisburg and Iroquois
Hydro crews are responding to a transformer failure in South Dundas Township that has cut power to Rideau St. Lawrence Utilities customers in the villages of Morrisburg and Iroquois. The power outage occurred at approximately 11:45am. Power should return at approximately 4pm today.

Morrisburg - January 13, 2012 - Hydro crews are responding to a transformer failure in South Dundas Township that has cut power to Rideau St. Lawrence Utilities customers in the villages of Morrisburg and Iroquois. The power outage occurred at approximately 11:45am.

Donna Caswell, from the Rideau St. Lawrence office in Morrisburg indicated there was a failure in a Hydro One transformer that feeds Morrisburg and Iroquois. Crews are on the scene and did not know if the failure was due to the winter storm.

Caswell stated that power should return at approximately 4pm today.
