Edmonton - Apr. 10, 2015: While the Edmonton Oilers may have dropped a 3-1 decision to the San Jose Sharks in what was their final home game of the 2014-15 season, it was an evening rookie Laurent Brossoit won't soon forget. The former Edmonton Oil Kings netminder was simply fantastic in his NHL debut and at the very least, handed Oilers fans a memory they won't soon forget. FULL STORY

Stoney Point - Mar. 20, 2015: The San Jose Sharks are trying hard to secure a spot in this spring’s NHL Playoffs. For the Toronto Maple Leafs, the end of this miserable season can’t come quick enough. The two teams met last night at the Air Canada Centre and the Sharks skated to a 4-1 win over the Buds. Joe Thornton would be a good acquisition for the Maple Leafs. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Feb. 3, 2015: Well…that was different. For the first time in what truly feels like ages, the Edmonton Oilers were involved in one heck of an entertaining hockey game. While it was far from a perfect outing, as they managed to blow yet another two goal third period lead, last night’s 5-4 shootout victory over the San Jose Sharks was exciting to watch and that is something Oilers fans have rarely been able to say over the last couple of seasons. Edmonton - Dec. 19, 2014: While last night's 4-3 loss to the San Jose Sharks marked the seventeenth time in their last eighteen games in which the Edmonton Oilers found themselves on the wrong side of the scoresheet, it was a performance few could take issue with. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Dec. 10, 2014: Well…it was nice while it lasted. After ending their eleven game winless skid on Sunday night with a 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks at Rexall Place, the Edmonton Oilers wasted little time in returning to form during Tuesday’s return engagement at the Shark Tank. Edmonton - Dec. 8, 2014: In the grand scheme of things, Sunday’s 2-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks doesn’t mean much of anything when it comes to the Edmonton Oilers and their long suffering fan base but at least for night it was a distraction that was badly needed for everyone involved...ownership, management, coaches, players and fans. Calgary - Dec. 7, 2014: The San Jose Sharks helped start the Calgary Flames' four-game winning streak. They helped end it too, and in the process they extended their own streak. San Jose also snapped a three-game losing streak to Boston, which took a two-goal lead less than three minutes into the game but couldn't hold it. FULL STORY

San Jose - Nov. 30, 2014: While his teammates were on the ice Saturday for their morning skate at SAP Center, San Jose Sharks center Logan Couture was at the hospital, getting treated for an illness that had caused an eye to swell up. Couture was questionable to play against the Anaheim Ducks. But after receiving an IV and taking antibiotics, he participated in warm-ups and then scored the Sharks' first two goals in a 6-4 win. Edmonton - Sep. 28, 2014: Edmonton Oilers GM Craig MacTavish decided to not qualify defenceman Taylor Fedun during the summer and instead turned his attention towards signing former Tampa Bay Lightning blueliner Keith Aulie to a one year deal. While Aulie has looked downright awful during his two pre-season appearances for the Oilers, Fedun is pushing hard for a spot on the opening roster of the San Jose Sharks. Confused? You should be. Edmonton - Apr. 23, 2014: It has been six years since Raffi Torres was a member of the Edmonton Oilers and while he has had his fair share of ups and downs since leaving the Alberta Capital, the former fifth overall pick will always hold a special place in the hearts of fans across Oil Country. While some may view the San Jose Sharks winger as nothing more than a head-hunter, those are the people who tend to ignore just how useful of a player he really is. FULL STORY

Edmonton - Apr. 2, 2014: The Edmonton Oilers kicked off their final road drop of the season with the result most expected on Tuesday evening, dropping a 5-4 decision to the San Jose Sharks. While the scoreline may have surprised some, this one was close from to start to finish and it had absolutely nothing to do with Ben Scrivens, at least not in a positive manner, and everything to do with the trio of Jordan Eberle, Taylor Hall and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Edmonton - Mar. 26, 2014: Despite being soundly beaten by the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night, it would be rather ridiculous for either the Edmonton Oilers or their fans to be overly disappointed with their effort in what was a 5-2 loss to the Pacific Division leaders. With that said, it appears as though Dallas Eakins' side have all but clinched 29th place in the league standings after last night's NHL results FULL STORY
