Stoney Point - Jul. 30, 2020: Hockey is Back! The NHL has entered to bubble cities and the real games are about to begin. It is time for the NHL Playoffs, where this year 24 teams compete for the Stanley Cup. When my Dad was alive, he enjoyed running a playoff pool each season. Since his passing in 2008, his tradition has continued and we are ready to launch the 24th Annual Hometown Hockey Playoff Pool. FULL STORY

Stoney Point - Jun. 6, 2020: Last year, the high water levels caused one tree to uproot and fall into the lake. This year, there are likely five or six more. Like most photos, these do not do justice to the changes along the shoreline at Tremblay Beach Conservation Area. FULL STORY

Please take a listen as we talk about his time with the Royals, coach Orval Tessier, his induction into the ECHL Hall of Fame and much more! We even heard a story about Craig Duncanson's least favourite Christmas gift! FULL STORY

Stoney Point - May. 31, 2020: Each spring, we usually do a better job cutting up oranges for the Orioles. This afternoon, despite the poor job we have done putting out orange slices - we had a visit from this beauty! We were outside enjoying the nice day and heard him...then we saw him at the top of one of the trees. #CanadaSouth FULL STORY

Stoney Point - May. 12, 2019: As a kid, I grew up as a huge Cornwall Royals fan. I was too young to remember their 1972 Memorial Cup victory with the likes of Bob Murray, John Wensink, Al Sims, Blair MacDonald and Richard Brodeur. However, I fondly remember their back to back cups in 1980 and 1981 with star studded lineups that included Dan Daoust, Dale Hawerchuk, Doug Gilmour, Scott Arniel, Dave Ezard and others! Stoney Point - Apr. 11, 2019: I know I will take a lot of heat for this prediction and will receive my fair share of ribbing, but I am calling the Toronto Maple Leafs to beat the Boston Bruins in six games. Most people seem to think that the Leafs don't stand much of a chance against the Bruins, but the underdog role might work in their favour. FULL STORY
