Mar. 13, 2019: Last night, Carey Price made 20 saves in a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings to become the winningest goaltender in Montreal Canadiens franchise history. Price now has 315 career wins, surpassing Jacques Plante who finished his career with 314. FULL STORY

Mar. 10, 2019: The Windsor Spitfires fell 4-1 on Saturday in Flint to the Firebirds. Meanwhile, the Erie Otters were 5-3 winners at home over the Mississauga Steelheads. As of today, the two teams are tied with 56 points for the final playoff spot in the OHL Western Conference. It should be interesting to watch these two teams over the final week of the OHL Season. Mar. 3, 2019: On an afternoon that the Windsor Spitfires wore special jerseys to honour area first responders, the home team dropped a heart breaking game early in overtime. The Spits fell behind 3-1 by midway through the game. Windsor had a strong third period out-shooting their opponent 20-8. The team rallied to tie Kingston on goals by Luke Boka and Curtis Douglas. Feb. 26, 2019: Savannah Beaulieu (9) and Tristan Burk joined Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain to welcome her Honour the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario at the Atlas Tube Centre today. The Lieutenant Governor was in the area conducting a number of visits in Southwestern Ontario. FULL STORY

Feb. 21, 2019: Paige Morton and her family drove 561 kilometres from Paris, Ontario to Ottawa to see Michael DiPietro play. Sadly, it wasn’t a game that DiPietro was scheduled to play in. He saw the sign that Paige had made and reached out. Mikey organized a tour of the 67’s dressing room, got her a signed stick and then invited her to skate on the Rideau Canal with the team on Saturday. FULL STORY

Mar. 30, 2017: The Windsor Spitfires have pushed the defending Memorial Cup Champion London Knights to the brink of elimination with an exciting 3-2 overtime win. The Spits now take a commanding 3-1 series lead with them into Game 5 Friday night at the Budweiser Gardens. Chicago Blackhawks prospect Graham Knott was the hero of the night scoring both the game’s first and last goals. His biggest came at 5:58 of OT to give the Spitfires a 3-2 win over the Knights before 5,302 at the WFCU Centre. FULL STORY
