All Six Penguins Preseason Games to be televised
It was released today that the Pittsburgh Penguins will have all six preseason games televised locally for the first time in team history—four by ROOT SPORTS and two by Pittsburgh’s CW (WPCW). ROOT SPORTS will carry the preseason opener on, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. when the Penguins face a new divisional foe, the Columbus Blue Jackets, at Nationwide Arena.

Wilkes-Barre Scranton - August 8, 2013 - It was released today that the Pittsburgh Penguins will have all six preseason games televised locally for the first time in team history - four by ROOT SPORTS and two by Pittsburgh’s CW (WPCW).

ROOT SPORTS will carry the preseason opener on, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. when the Penguins face a new divisional foe, the Columbus Blue Jackets, at Nationwide Arena. ROOT SPORTS also will carry games on Sept. 19 at Chicago, Sept. 21 against Columbus at CONSOL Energy Center, and Sept. 25 at Detroit..

Pittsburgh’s CW will broadcast two preseason home games – Sept. 16 vs. Detroit and Sept. 23 vs. Chicago.

ROOT Sports broadcasters Paul Steigerwald and Bob Errey will call the action for all six games.

SEPT 15 @COLUMBUS 6 P.M. ROOT

SEPT 16 DETROIT 7 P.M WPCW-TV

SEPT 19 @CHICAGO 8 P.M. ROOT

SEPT 21 COLUMBUS 4 P.M. ROOT

SEPT 23 CHICAGO 7 P.M. WPCW-TV

SEPT 25 @DETROIT 7:30 P.M. ROOT
