WBS Drops First Pre-Season Game To Rochester
Hartzell got the start for tonight’s game in Rochester, things get going but it wasn’t long before the first dance Minella and McGuire both got in some shots from what we can see doesn’t look like it was much. The Amerks would get the first PP of the game giving them the chance to jump ahead and they take full advantage.

Wilkes-Barre Scranton - September 27, 2013 - Not going to write a real lot about this game first its pre-season second I didn’t see it or hear it just followed along on twitter.

Manderson would answer back just 25 seconds later for the Pens on a two on one rush making it a one to one game. Sylvester would go back to the sin bin for WBS this time for a board costing the Pens another power play and the Amerks make good on it again making it 2-1.

That’s where the first period would end 2-1 Rochester WBS giving up 2 PP goals and not even getting the chance to bring out their power play unit, it wouldn’t be until 8:31 into the second period that the Pens would get the PP on the ice.

Amerks and WBS make some Goalie changes Hartzell goes out Chiodo comes in for WBS, Thompson puts the puck in the net making it two all Brian Gibbons gets the assist.

All things being even that’s where it would end good action through the third period but no score change taking the first pre-season game into OT. The Amerks would end it in OT taking tonight’s game 3-2.

Two notes for tonight 1 Patrick McGrath took the warm-up from what I read and 2 Brian Gibbons had the C

Again sorry for the short write up but just going on what we read.
