With 6:36 left in the second period Eric Staal would get a deflection goal putting the Hurricanes on board making it a one point game Pens still leading now 2-1. Second period ends still 2-1 Pens holding the canes off and looking toward the third frame.

Canes step it up coming out with momentum from the second period goal scoring in the first few minutes of the third period making it two all, but the Pens bounce right back on a nice goal from Jokinen a great pass from Malkin to Jokinen sets it up and what do you know its 3-2 Penguins.

Tanner Glass would make it 4-2 on a second effort goal of the face off a nice backhander the boys really making things happen. Jussi Jokinem gets his Hat Trick with a nice wrist shot from just inside the zone to make it 5-2Penguins.

MAF and the Penguins would hold in for a 5-2 Victory over the Canes.
