Toronto - July 1, 2014 - The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-acquired forward Matt Frattin from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Jerry D'Amigo and a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

The Leafs traded away Frattin in the deal with the Los Angeles Kings to acquire G Jonathan Bernier. Frattin was originally drafted by Toronto in the fourth round (99th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Bolland signs with Florida

Former Leaf Dave Bolland signed a five-year deal with the Florida Panthers worth an average annual value of $5.5 million.

The Mimico, Ont. native signed with Toronto last summer and only played in 23 games. He scored eight goals and four assists in 23 games last season.

His heart never seemed to be in Toronto and Dave Nonis was wise not to spend $5.5 million a year on a third line centre.
