TIMEOUT: Who wins the Stanley Cup in 2014-15?
In this week's installment of 30 Second Timeout we asked the following question: Crystal Ball time - who wins the Stanley Cup in 2014-15? I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Chicago Blackhawks will win the Stanley Cup in 2014-15. I like their depth, experience, and skill. Most of all, they're goaltending isn't a question mark unlike San Jose, Anaheim, and St.Louis. Adding Brad Richards for a paltry $2M and letting Michal Handzus, Brandon Bollig, and PM Bouchard go were astute moves on GM Stan Bowman's part.

Stoney Point - August 28, 2014 - In this week's installment of 30 Second Timeout we asked the following question: Crystal Ball time - who wins the Stanley Cup in 2014-15?

Beer League Hero - I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Chicago Blackhawks will win the Stanley Cup in 2014-15.

Dean Belanger - LA Kings. Caveat, I never predict these things right so don't throw down the mortgage money. I will say though that the last time I was this confident was when the Ducks traded for Chris Pronger. That team was loaded and so is this one. Drew Doughty is still getting better which is not fair.

Phillip Blancher - Not the Buffalo Sabres, that's for sure! While the New York Rangers have the best team money can buy in the East, I think you will see a Boston Bruins - Los Angeles Kings final, with the Bruins taking the Cup.

Chris Savard - My vote goes to the Chicago Blackhawks. It is hard not to picture this team as a contender every year. They went to game seven last year against the eventual cup champions and could have easily won it last you too. The addition of Brad Richards to the likes of Hossa, Kane, Toews, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook and others makes them a good bet!

Ryan Womeldorf - The Cup will make its return to the Windy City. The Hawks are just too deep to contend with and, after another battle with the Kings, will dominate the East in the Finals to claim their third Cup since 2010.
