Wilkes-Barre Scranton - November 21, 2014 -

It was a trip to Albany for the WBS Penguins tonight taking on the Devils at the Times Union Center. The Penguins got off to a quick start tonight Dominik Uher tallied the Penguins first goal as a bit of a tussle broke out in front of the team benches kind of a strange set of events but anyway after a quick review the goal stuck one to none Pens.

Just eighteen seconds later Scott Wilson netted the Penguins second goal of the night making it a two to nothing game and the WBS Penguins were in the lead. that would be about it for the first period no more goals a few chances but the Penguins would hold the lead heading off the ice for the first break.

The second period would be just as good to the Penguins as was the first just fifty five seconds in Josh Archibald would light up Keith Kinkaid making it a three to nothing WBS. The WBS Penguins weren't done yet Brian Dumoulin made it four to nothing Penguins at 2:36 of the second frame, this would be all for Kinkaid the Devils would switch him out for Wedgewood and it would seem to work. That would be all for the second frame Penguins leading 4-0 at the break.

Jayson Megna would get his name on the score sheet netting the WBS Penguins fifth of the game and putting a dent in Wedgewood's armor. The Devils would score taking away Zatkoff's shutout. PL3 and Thompson do the five knuckle waltz, from the sound of it I would have to give this one to PL3. Later Scott Wilson and McKelvie do a dance as well score this one for Wilson.

All in all a good game for the WBS Penguins coming out of the contest 5-1 over the Albany Devils. The Pens will now travel back to WBS to take on the Manchester Monarchs at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza tomorrow night. If you don't have tickets I would go out and get them it's going to be a great game.
