Windsor Spitfires Scrimmage Results
The first day of on-ice action at this year's Windsor Spitfires training camp featured morning and afternoon practice sessions, followed by a pair of scrimmages; as Team Renaud faced both Team Julien and Team Quenneville in intersquad play, recording two wins in a busy day for the 47 players in attendance.

Windsor - August 29, 2013 - The first day of on-ice action at this year's Windsor Spitfires training camp featured morning and afternoon practice sessions, followed by a pair of scrimmages; as Team Renaud faced both Team Julien and Team Quenneville in intersquad play, recording two wins in a busy day for the 47 players in attendance.

GAME ONE: RENAUD 5, JULIEN 4
Anthony Marra scored a pair of goals, including the game winner in a shootout, as Team Renaud edge Team Julien, 5-4 in the morning scrimmage.

Drew Marlatt, Brady Vail and Chris Cobham had the other goals for Team Renaud, which enjoyed a 15-save, second period performance from goaltender Brendan Johnston.

Ryan Foss had a pair of goals in a losing cause for Team Julien, while Zack Percy and Ryker Killins had the others. Jordan DeKort made 14 saves in goal in the loss.

GAME TWO: RENAUD 7, QUENNEVILLE 6
Ryan Markovic capped a wild comeback with a seeing-eye goal, his second of the game, at 16:48 of the second period, as Team Renaud completed the sweep with a 7-6 win over Team Quenneville in the afternoon scrimmage.

Mitch Graham also had a pair of goals, while Brady Vail, Anthony Marra and Michael Andlauer added singles, as Team Renaud battled back from a 4-2 deficit with five second period markers. Ryan Moore and Josh Ho-Sang each scored twice in a losing cause for Team Quenneville. Chris Marchese and Slater Koekkoek rounded out the scoring.

Brendan Johnston and Eli Billing each faced 14 shots in goal for Team Renaud, while Paolo Battisti and Dalen Kuchmey faced a combined 24 shots.

MORNING SCRIMMAGE
Nikita Yazkov scored three times, leading Team Renaud to a 7-5 win over Team Quenneville in the morning scrimmage session on Wednesday. Anthony Marra, Chris Marchese, Mason Schmitt and Matthew Hudie had the others, while Brady chipped in a pair of assists.

Jared Leslie had a goal and two assists in a losing cause for Team Quenneville. Josh Ho-Sang, Colin Moore, Ty Bilcke and Ryan Foss added singles.

AFTERNOON SCRIMMAGE
Ryan Moore scored three times, leading Team Quenneville to a 9-8 win in the afternoon scrimmage session. Ryan Foss added a pair of goals and Kerby Rychel had a goal and an assist; while Ty Bilcke, Matt Kenney, and Jared Leslie each added a goal.

Brady Vail answered with a pair of markers for Team Renaud and Nick Ebert chipped in a goal and an assist in the loss.

Trevor Murphy, Steven Janes, Matthew Hudie, Remy Giftopoulos and Drew Marlatt added singles.
