Hounds trim Training Camp Roster
After two days of on-ice scrimmages, as part ofTraining Camp 2013, the Soo Greyhounds have trimmed their roster heading into Saturday’s Red & White contest. Thirty-two players remain in camp including four (4) goalies, ten (10) defencemen and eighteen (18) forwards.

Sault Ste Marie - August 31, 2013 - After two days of on-ice scrimmages, as part ofTraining Camp 2013, the Soo Greyhounds have trimmed their roster heading into Saturday’s Red & White contest.

Thirty-two players remain in camp including four (4) goalies, ten (10) defencemen and eighteen (18) forwards.

GOALIES (4) – Matt Murray, Justin Nichols, Brandon Halverson and Matt Blattenberger

DEFENCEMAN (10) – Kyle Jenkins, Medric Mercier, Kevin Spinozzi, Jack VanBoekel, ColtonWhite, Mac Clutsam, Tyler Ganly, Callum Fryer, Patrick McAullife, Darnell Nurse

FORWARDS (18) – Jaren Bellini, Mitchell Dempsey, Tyler Gaudet, Brandon Hughes, TrentMallette, Jared McCann, Blake Speers, Grant Syrette, Patrick Watling, ChrisBrill-Morgan, Michael Bunting, Andrew Fritsch, Jorgen Karterud, Ryan Kirkup, David Miller, Nick Pastorious, Landon Schiller, Sergey Tolchinsky

As a result of Friday’s cut-down, released from camp were:

Adrian Clark, James Thomson, Austin Cho, Jake Behse, Daniel Jelic, Chris Klack, Riley O’Connell, Dalton Barnes, Travis Campbell, Darren Brady.

The remaining players have now been split into the final Team Red and Team White, who will now prepare for Saturday’s Luke Williams Red & White contest.

The game will be played on Saturday, August 31st – 7:07 p.m. at the Essar Centre.

Tickets are on-sale beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Admission is $12 for Adults, $10 for Seniors/Students while Children (12 & Under) will be admitted FREE* (* limit of two FREE tickets per customer.)
