Owen Sound - October 28, 2013 - Trevor Murphy scored the game winner at 4:18 of overtime, as the Spitfires beat the Attack 5-4 on Sunday afternoon at the Bayshore Arena in Owen Sound.

Murphy's point shot deflected off Gemel Smith's stick and past goaltender Brandon Hope (42 saves), emptying a jubilant Windsor (8-6-0-0) bench.

"The puck just came out to me at one-time speed," Murphy said. "I cracked it and it found its way through."

Remy Giftopoulos and Josh Ho-Sang each had a goal and an assist, while Ben Johnson kicked in a pair of assists as the Spitfires won their fourth straight game.

Cristiano DiGiacinto scored his fourth goal of the year in just his fifth game with the Spitfires. Nick Ebert rounded out the scoring for the winners.

Gemel Smith had a pair of goals (14,15) in a losing cause for Owen Sound (7-6-1-1).

FOTINOS SENT TO HOSPITAL

Goaltender Alex Fotinos was taken to hospital after getting run over by Attack winger Kyle Hope at the 14:22 mark of the first period. Hope was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for goalie interference on the play.

Fotinos underwent tests, was released and travelled back to Windsor with the team.

Dalen Kuchmey earned the win in relief, making 37 saves.
