Milne scores Game Winner in Spits debut
Brody Milne's first goal as a member of the Windsor Spitfires was a memorable one; the game winner in a 5-2 victory over the Saginaw Spirit on Thursday night in front of 4,923 at the WFCU Centre. Acquired in the trade that sent Kerby Rychel and Nick Ebert on Tuesday, Milne also picked up an assist on Josh Ho-Sang's team-leading 16th of the season.

Windsor - December 6, 2013 - Brody Milne's first goal as a member of the Windsor Spitfires was a memorable one; the game winner in a 5-2 victory over the Saginaw Spirit on Thursday night in front of 4,923 at the WFCU Centre.

Acquired in the trade that sent Kerby Rychel and Nick Ebert on Tuesday, Milne also picked up an assist on Josh Ho-Sang's team-leading 16th of the season in the second period, completing a strong night that saw he, Ho-Sang and linemate Remy Giftopoulos (11) each score.

Jimmy Lodge had a pair of goals in a losing cause for Saginaw (15-10-3-1), which fell two points behind Windsor (18-10-0-0) for second place in the West Division.

The Spitfires moved within five of the division leading Soo Greyhounds with the victory.

Alex Fotinos was once again outstanding in goal for the home side, making 38 saves to improve his record to 13-2 since the trade that brought him to Windsor from Barrie in October.

The Spits are right back at it Friday night, as they take on the London Knights at the Budweiser Gardens.
