Spits blank Fronts for fifth straight win

Windsor - January 31, 2014 - The home side got goals from three different lines and Dalen Kuchmey made 30 saves, as the Windsor Spitfires shut down the high-octane Kingston Frontenacs in a 4-0 win at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.

Brady Vail and Josh Ho-Sang each scored their 24th goals of the season and Ryan Moore chipped in his fourth, as Windsor (30-17-2-0) won for the fifth straight time, splitting the season series with Kingston.

Ryan Foss sealed the win in the third period with his 10th of the season and chipped in a pair of assists for his third three-point game of the season.

Matt Mahalak made 20 saves in a losing cause.

Kingston came into the game with 210 goals, 35 more than the team (Barrie, 175) with the second most in the Eastern Conference.

The Spits are back at it on home ice on Saturday night, as they host Kerby Rychel's Guelph Storm.
