Sabres sign Ennis to multi-year contract
Forward Tyler Ennis signed a multiyear contract with the Buffalo Sabres, the team announced Thursday. Terms were not disclosed, but NHL Network analyst Kevin Weekes has reported it's for five years and $23 million.

Buffalo - July 17, 2014 - Forward Tyler Ennis signed a multiyear contract with the Buffalo Sabres, the team announced Thursday.

Terms were not disclosed, but NHL Network analyst Kevin Weekes has reported it's for five years and $23 million.

Ennis led the Sabres last season with a career-high 21 goals and was second in team scoring with 43 points.

The 26th pick in the 2008 NHL Draft, Ennis had 20 goals and a career-high 49 points as a rookie in 2010-11. He has 69 goals and 166 points in 267 games, and three goals and eight points in 13 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
