Cornwall - Aug. 12, 2013: Just like that, the Cornwall Colts have lost a key piece to their next season’s attempt at back to back champions. Michael Pontarelli, a right winger out of Laval, Quebec, announced that he is not returning for another season with the Junior A Cornwall Colts after weeks of will he or won’t he. Cornwall - Jul. 18, 2013: At long last, there is finally another banner being raised to the rafters at the Ed Lumley Arena. The Central Canada Hockey League 2012/2013 champions, the Cornwall Colts, will see their hard work paid off on Thursday, September 5th.The banner raising ceremony will mark the beginning of Cornwall’s 2013/2014 season as they take on the Hawkesbury Hawks. Cornwall - Jul. 12, 2013: The Cornwall Colts have announced that they have been awarded the Fred Page Cup for 2015. The Junior A tournament hosts the best teams of Eastern Canada with the winner playing for the Royal Bank Cup and the title of being Canada’s best. Cornwall - Jan. 6, 2012: The Gloucester Rangers defeated the Cornwall Colts 3-2 in shootout at the Ed Lumley arena on Thursday night. It was not the way the Colts were looking to begin the year of 2012. With the shootout loss, the Colts earned a single point to give them a total of 56 on the season and a record of 26-9-2-2.
Cornwall - Dec. 16, 2011: Cornwall Colts netminder Lukas Hafner wasn’t as busy as the Hawkesbury goaltenders, but he still came away with a win and a shutout on Thursday night. The Colts beat the Hawkesbury Hawks 5-0 in front of 1,029 fans at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
Cornwall - Dec. 3, 2011: It was another solid weekend for Ian MacInnis and his Cornwall Colts, outscoring their opposition 12-3 in two games on back-to-back nights. On Thursday, the Colts beat the Brockville Braves 5-1 on home ice and on Friday they travelled to Gloucester and pounded the Rangers 7-2.
Cornwall - Nov. 25, 2011: The Cornwall Colts are getting players back and with that they are returning to their winning ways. Tyson and Tylor Spink have returned from the 2011 World Junior A Challenge and Kyle Baun returned to the lineup last night. The Colts looked strong in a 8-0 pounding of the Kemptville 73’s.
Cornwall - Nov. 20, 2011: Perhaps Roman Ammirato wishes the Cornwall Colts would play more Saturday afternoon. Ammirato had four goals and an assist to lead the hometown Cornwall Colts to a 7-3 victory over the Kemptville 73’s in a rare Saturday afternoon tilt at the Ed Lumley Arena.
Cornwall - Nov. 18, 2011: The Spink twins combined for five points in their return to the Cornwall Colts line-up and lead the home team to a 3-2 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears. The Colts now improve to 18-6-1 on the season. Cornwall is in action again on Saturday afternoon as they play host to the Kemptville 73’s.
Cornwall - Nov. 11, 2011: Ian MacInnis is likely counting the days until December rolls around. The Cornwall Colts lost their fourth straight game on Thursday night and are now winless in November. This time it was the visiting Hawkesbury Hawks who spoiled the night for the Colts, with a 3-2 victory at the Cornwall Civic Complex.

Cornwall - Oct. 28, 2011: The Cornwall Colts improved to 16-3 on the season with a 5-2 victory last night over the Ottawa Jr. Senators. Cornwall - Oct. 14, 2011: The Cornwall Colts dropped their second straight game, losing 7-2 to the Carleton Place Canadians last night at the Civic Complex. The Carleton Place Canadians have the distinction of having the ugliest uniforms in the Canadian Central Hockey League. FULL STORY
Cornwall - Oct. 12, 2011: The Nepean Raiders were able to accomplish something that other CCHL teams have not been able to this season. The Raiders beat the Cornwall Colts 4-2 on Tuesday night to hand Ian MacInnis’ squad its first loss of the 2011-12 season.
Cornwall - Oct. 7, 2011: The Cornwall Colts secured a 5-2 victory on home ice Thursday against the Kemptville 73’s to improve to a perfect 11-0 on the season. The game was played at the Cornwall Civic Complex in front of 1,003 fans.
After a scoreless first period, Colts’ defenceman Brandon Howes opened the scoring at 15:10 of the second period. FULL STORY

The 2011-2012 Pre-Season rankings and the leagues in which the teams belong to are in parenthesis. Ian MacInnis and the Cornwall Colts are ranked as the nation's top team!
Cornwall - Sep. 23, 2011: The Cornwall Colts delighted 1,017 fans at the Ed Lumley arena on Thursday night as they defeated the Nepean Raiders 4-1. With the win the Colts improve to a perfect 6-0 for the season.

Cornwall - Aug. 29, 2011: The Cornwall Colts played their second pre-season game of the year on Sunday night at the Ed Lumley Arena. The Colts beat the Brockville Braves 6-3 in front of an announced crowd of 650 people. Youssef Kabbaj opened the scoring for the Colts on the powerplay before the game was five minutes old.
